Inspiration page by Titbelsoeur

Hi there ! Titbelsoeur here today,
I have painted the 3 monkeys with watercolor :

SLS

and the background is made with the canvas sheet that protects my craft table. When it is saturated, I change it and use the leftover to make pages. Have you ever tried to do that ?

Just have a try with the lovely Sock Monkey Best Friends Trio

Inspiration Post.....Genny

Hello everyone...Genny here. For my inspiration post today. I decided to work with this skull again. I just love them and am always finding different ways to use them. For the one above, I coloured it with my promarkers. I then used it to make a feature on a new sign for my cottage. I had a piece of slate and painted orange flowers around the edge and placed this skull in the bottom left corner. I then covered the whole lot with some exterior Modge Podge several times. It now sits outside my cottage and has created quite a stir. I think that there may be several cottages with a candy skull very soon..lol.

I was intending to stop there but then I decided ton see if it was possible to papercut the same skull...so I did. I took the black and white image and cut out lots of the plain paper. I was also careful to leave a small white area around the whole skull to give it some definition after cutting so much out. I then glued the papercut onto a pink, lilac and blue background paper which I had made using my H2Os. I finally mounted the whole thing onto a piece of black.

There is no doubt that I will be finding other ways to use these skulls. I am aiming to make a panel to decorate my front door and that may well be a collection of skulls. I will share it with you all as soon as I've finished it.

I hope that you will come and join in the new challenge that is due to begin here on the blog tomorrow. The rest of the team has created some wonderful makes. so I hope that you will pop over and join in the fun.So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

A LITTLE CRAZY CARD

Today I have some inspiration for you.
How many of you plan a card before you start colouring?

Well, I have not done it on this card.
But I seriously need to start planing before colouring
because it is easier then to coordinate
Bazzill, pattern paper and the coloured motif.

I love purple and started colouring with some of my purple Copics.
And was wondering what to do next.
Well I kind of went a little bit overboard when I coordinated the purple with orange
so I decided to just dive straight overboard with green hair.

 I have used:
Mad Court Jester and you can find it HERE!

Judy's Inspiration for August

I made this simple tag as my inspiration for you for August. I loved this rainbow and cloud image created by Sal at SLS Lines aand decided to make a tag for a gift for someone that needs some cheering up.

The image is called Rainbow with Fluffy Heart Clouds and can be found here. I coloured  it with my Ink Intense Pencils and layered it on a tag make from some gell print paper from my stash. I cut a few on my hearts out and scattered them on the tag. I added a ribbon and a stamped sentiment and the tag was complete.

You can find SLS Digital Stamps here. They have a great selection of images to chose from.   I hope you will join in this month's 3  or more layer challenge, just create you card or project and enter it here

Have a creative day and remember to stop back regularly to see the other inspiring creations of the very talented design team.

Altered Index Cards....

Hi SLS Lines Fans!

Today I am sharing a couple of altered index cards I did for ICAD this year - for those of you who haven't heard of ICAD - it stands for "Index Card A Day" - and is 62 days of creating with basic index cards and of course having fun!!

My 2 cards today use SLS Lines digis so I thought I would show them off here for a bit of inspiration!!

This was Day 44 and the daily prompt was "Rainbow Making Machine" so I collaged layers of scrap papers in each colour of the rainbow, printed "Rainbow with Fluffy Heart Clouds" on white paper and fussy cut - no colouring and then stapled all the layers together - quick but effective collaged card!

This is Day 55 with the prompt of "Olympics" - LOL - I just couldn't resist having some fun with this one!!! She's a track athlete - a "run"away bride!!! Is she running to the wedding or away from the wedding???? Background is mixed media with texture paste and stencil plus ink sprays and I treid to have a sort of Olympic interlocking rings look! I printed the image on kraft coloured paper and fussy cut and again no colouring, wording is computer generated.

This card I have shown here before with the last lot of new release digis but thought I would share again - because along with being a new release this was also my Day 11 - Baseball daily prompt card. This newbie image is "Sad Clown with Flower in his Hat" and was great to colour, fussy cut and add to the mixed media background on this card!

Stay tuned for more inspirational posts from the DT for this month and a new challenge will be starting on the 20th of the month!
